Originally, I thought part of building a local marketing business was just getting business into Google Places and Bing. While effective, I have found that one way to promote local searches is a micro-business directory for a city or town is a great way to build a loyal customer base. Customers like to search on their mobile phones, but what if they could search, but also find which business has a deal or coupon nearby, wouldn’t that be a more valuable search. Also the ability to create a custom landing page for the business allows for more interaction with the visitor than just a phone number and address for a location.
I’m in the process of launching a new program to create micro-business pages for a small-medium size city. In the process of launching this program, I will post updates to keep you updated on my success. So stay tuned.
